He is quite known for his '">shinigami, and decides to use it to change the world, becoming the vigilante killer known as "Kira" and coming into conflict with both the law enforcement of the world and the mysterious detective known only as L.
He is quite known for his '' look and 'The [[God of the New World (meme)|' expression which gained meme status.
