A Shinto shrine located in ]], Japan. Built to honour deceased Japanese soldiers during the Imperial era of Japan (1876 - 1951). The shrine has became a focal point in East Asian political debate (specifically [[China and Korea), as it was the resting place of several notorious war criminals during Japanese conquest of Asia and World War II, including Hideki Tojo.
