The game over message in the Souls series. The notorious difficulty of the series made the game over screen a meme. The message is often used as a punchline to imply a character's sudden or unexpected death.
"You Died" appeared earlier as the game over screen in the Resident Evil series, but in popular consciousness the phrase is usually associated with the Souls_series and other FromSoftware games.
