zastava_yugo
A car manufactured by Zastava Automobiles from 1980 until 2008. Unlike previous Zastava cars, such as the Zastava_750/850, which were foreign models made under license, the Yugo was notably designed by Zastava with Fiat support. From 1988, it would also named the Zastava Koral.
In the mid-80s, the Yugo would be exported abroad with help from Malcolm Bricklin, competing with other Eastern cars being exported at the time, such as the Polski_Fiat_126p and Skoda Favorit. The Yugo would end up acquiring a reputation as the "worst car of all time" in the West, unhelped by foreign models having more faults than the domestic models, while it is remembered fondly in former Yugoslavia.
