Common enemy wasps from the Donkey Kong (series) series, debuting in the original Donkey Kong Country.
They act as obstacles to be avoided, due to their abdomen being covered in spikes. Usually the Kongs alone can't defeat them with a simple jump, and need either a thrown projectile or an Animal Friend.
They come in a multitude of colors, with yellow being the default.
