Use this tag only for things that appear in Emerald but don't appear in Ruby and Sapphire. This includes some Emerald-exclusive characters and designs.

This tag is similar to Pokémon Platinum.

A note about the anime

• In these cases, use pokemon dppt (anime) (don't use any game tags like pokemon emerald or pokemon rse).

Exclusive characters / roles

• Juan (pokemon), the Gym Leader of Sootopolis City in Pokémon Emerald. He does not appear in RS or ORAS.

Champion

• Wallace is the Hoenn Champion Pokémon Emerald. So posts where he fills that role in a game context (as opposed to manga/anime context) such as post #753097 are tagged pokemon emerald.

A note about Pokémon SM

• anabel_(pokemon) pokemon_sm
• In Pokémon Sun and Moon, Anabel (pokemon) appears with long hair tied in a ponytail (as opposed to her short hair in Emerald), and using a black coat and tie. In these cases, use pokemon sm, not pokemon emerald or pokemon rse.

Scott

• Scott (pokemon) is an exclusive Pokémon Emerald character.
