Sonic Heroes (ソニック ヒーローズ Sonikku Hīrōzu) is a 2003 3D Sonic (series) game published by Sega and developed by Sonic Team. The game released for the PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, Xbox (original) and Windows PC, being the first to be released on a non-Sega home console.
In this game, the player takes control of one of four teams, each with three characters who fall into one of three categories; Speed, Fly and Power, each team has different stage formations, objectives and abilities as well. They need to work in teams to stop Dr. Eggman's new scheme, in a story meant to take place after the events of Sonic Adventure 2.
