stepan_(number-seventeen)
Stepan is a male Ukrainian character belonging to the 67th Mechanized Brigade, a Right Sector-derivative unit.
He is often depicted with a jacket, baggy pants, boots, gloves, and a blue beanie. His weapon of choice is an AK-47.
Created by Biswapriya Purkayastha in 2022 to mock Ukrainian ultranationalists in the comic Tales of Ukranazistan after the 2022_Russian_invasion_of_Ukraine began, his original full name was "Ukranazi Stepan". Marichka's newfound notoriety on /pol/ inspired Number-Seventeen to draw Stepan as an aesthetically-appealing character to ship with her in a series of comics, with his rather-unbelievable backstory utterly unchanged. LapisLumos' and Linyvets chan's contributions gave Stepan short blonde hair and greater depth, fully diverging the character from the original.
